Interesting. Yet I get the same errors at home, with no Windows clients and just several Macs doing Time Machine backups.

Maybe I should try to obtain a coredump as well.

Try getting the custom file from @anodos - my TM have been rock solid with his patches, both on -U1 and -U1.1

Thanks. It's just a minor annoyance for now, I will wait for U2.

I just replied because the thread suggested that it may be a specific multi channel problem, which is not. ;)

Just a quick update: Since 12.0-U2 is out, I ran a few tests using file copy over SMB (with and without multipath) as well as Time Machine backups and all seems well. No smbd errors. Thanks!

U1 is affected by the bug. It's been fixed in our stable branch, but version with fix has not been released. If you are stuck on U1 and can't roll back to release, feel free to PM me and I'll provide a dev snapshot with the fix in it.

For the record: I upgraded to 12.0-U2 today, and this issue has been resolved for me. Runs smooth as can be, thanks!
