IBM ServeRaid ( M1015 or M1115 ) ??

as the title says, is there a deference between these two cards?
i know the 1015 is the popular one , but if 1115 is better, should i buy it??

They're the exact same thing, as far as FreeNAS is concerned.

is there a benefit of getting the M5014 or M5015 , the first has 256m cach , the second 512

You don't want cache. You want it to be as simple as can be. Save the cash for real RAM.

Do the M1015. If you buy the others you're not only spending lots of money you shouldn't, but the first thing you'll be doing is disabling all the features you paid for.

Get the M1015 and be happy.
