Expanding existing FreeNAS Server

Anyways, i just wanted to let you know i went with the M1015 after all. I was just a little bit uncomfortable to fixate the SAS expander inside my chassi after giving it some thought.
We will be fine with another vdev of 7x8TB anyways and ifg not id rather buy a new supermicro case with a proper sas expander backplane.
I am sure the Intel expander is a great option but i don`t like to tinker around when it concerns business hardware.

Hey,

one question about the M1015 which i have to crossflash to an LSI 9211.
What is the recommended flash version to use with the latest FreeNAS version?
The only HBA i can fcind on the broadcom Support & Downloads page is for the LSI 9210, there is no mentioning of the LSI 9211, can i safely use the latest firmware
download for the LSI 9210-i8 HBA or is there a difference?

I believe you can but firmware for the 9211-8i is still there, under:
