SOLVED Can't reach freenas but can access plex

Hi all, I'm new here, I'm having trouble with my freenas installation.

I've installed freenas 11.2 with plex, all was running smoothly but today I shut it down to change the RAM then suddenly I can't access the webgui and ping freenas anymore, it shows request timed out to 192.168.1.20.
freenas can ping itself.

When pinging the gateway 192.168.1.1 from freenas shell, it shows "sendto: host is down."

I tried using DHCP but it shows "restarting network: failed" error then sets the user interface 0.0.0.0.


One thing that prevented me from reinstalling is that I have no problem accessing Plex, I can access the web and ping it at 192.168.1.30.

pinging from freenas to plex also shows "sendto: host is down."

did I flip the wrong switch somewhere?

nevermind, I found the problem, somehow the freenas mac address was set invalid, probably because of bios update.
set a new address and all back to normal
