Looking at the release schedule, RC1 is planned for late Oktober.

Release in late October.... its why it's called 23.10

RC1 in late september

Heads up for testers of BETA.1. We do have our nightly update images available online for what will become RC.1 and eventually .0. If folks are interesting in helping to test or confirm a issue you were experiencing has been fixed, please feel free to give these a whirl:

With this version, the hard disks regularly make these park position noises, even though they are set to continuous operation. With 22.12 this is not the case. Does anyone else have these problems?

Don't recall hearing anybody else mention that yet. Have you filed a ticket with a debug? We may need to look in more depth, see if there is some new powersave setting that is being enabled, might even be hardware specific.

Briefly tried latest Nightly but forgot it screwed the Truecharts apps.
So reverted back and had to fix all apps manually :rolleyes:
