Think of how much better ZFS would be if that were the case.
I have limited and recent knowledge about ZFS but from your comment clearly I don't understand why things are the way they are. I honestly have too much on my shoulders at the moment to research about it.

Thanks to everyone who helped me, I'll transfer the 35 TiB for the 3rd time. Hope this time is the good time, wish me luck!

3rd time is the charm, but I would try a single dataset first... just to verify that everything is as it should in order to avoid a potential 4th replication :)

That's what I'm doing! The dataset weights 35 TiB.
