SOLVED ASRock C2550d4i FUBAR

This thread is about the C2550D4I,

Hence my remark, never mind...
Actually, I would use it for pfSense - if it were booting up this damn thing :)

EDIT: Finally I got it running with a single 4GB non-ECC RAM, also kicked the BIOS up to the current version - in an awesome TWO hours.
The original plan was to run it on my old FreeNAS RAM (4 x 8GB ECC) but it won't take more than one module (yet).

My question:
Is it normal, that after it's powered the "System initializing..." message comes right up and then it needs 80 seconds (I actually timed it) to start the POST?
