TrueNAS 13.0-U3 is Now Available

We are pleased to announce the release of TrueNAS 13.0-U3.

This is a maintenance release with some improvements for ACLs and rsync, updates Samba to 4.15.10, and updates to the Asigra plugin. In addition, it adds Enclosure Management integration for the 3rd generation R50 and Storj as a new Cloud Sync provider.

I'm guessing 13.0-U3's base is still FreeBSD 13.0-RELEASE, in which case, it's still unsupported, it looks like:

Until now there is a tunable for it.

But this was deactivated in U2.
"Due to a bug with an upstream networking driver causing data corruption issues with iSCSI sharing configurations, 2.5GigE Realtek NICs are unsupported in 13.0-U2 by default. Warning: at a risk of data corruption, especially if the system is used for iSCSI sharing, the offending driver can be manually loaded. See the Known Issues entry for NAS-117663 for more details and the workaround."

Since nothing was written for U3, the problem probably still exists.

This should probably be under "improvements" instead of "bugs".
I might be imagining things, but traversing directories with lots of files feels *very* snappy.

Is the bug below concerning the version 13.0-U2 corrected?
And can I safely proceed with this update knowing that I have a network card 2.5 GigE Realtek?

Not answering your question, just a observation: when I clicked your jira links, it states that I don't have permission to view the issues altough I am logged in jira/attlassian...
