Good afternoon, I wonder if the temperature thresholds for this board can be changed in the bios, and if so, how.
Yesterday, I started rooting around BIOS settings, trying to lower the first thermal threshold for the CPU fan speed controller from 45*C down to 30*C or even 25*C. I.e. loaf at 25*C down at 25% of output, ramping up to 100% by the time the CPU reaches 45*C.
As best as I can tell, revising these thresholds is a no go - the BIOS menu lists 45*C as the lowest available temperature. Is there a way to modify this list of potential threshold temperature choices?
In the meantime, I have worked around the problem by setting the minimum CPU fan speed to 55%. However, I'd like to go lower when the CPU is not under load.
