What ports do I use so I can sync two FreeNAS boxes using rsync in different locations?

What do I type in the IP address box? Do I need to port forward my router and the other one? Do I use the public one or the private one with a :873 at the end?

It will automatically use that port number. Is there a firewall between the 2 systems? If so, you need to open that TCP port on the firewall.
