Hello,
i am new to FreeNAS, and we are using it for copying backup files from one FreeNAS system to another using Rsync. The hosts are on seperate locations but between the 2 locations we there is an VPN connection so we should be fine.
Our problem is would like to get status opdates per mail from the system when the Rsync task is ready. i've already accomplished to generate an logfile on the Rsync server. but there isn't any usefull information showing up.
ive added the following lines in the Auxiliary parameters" of the rsyncd service configuration:
log file=/var/log/rsyncd.log
transfer logging=true
log format="%o %h [%a] %m (%u) [%i] %f %l"
can anyone tell me if it is possible?
