I was having trouble mounting hard drives from my proxmox server to my freeNAS server. I was getting some permission issues and it looked like adding no_root_squash in /etc/exports would fix it (temporary). After making the changes I rebooted from the GUI and almost an hour later it has still not came back up. I can ping the address perfectly fine but no SSH or GUI.
I'm gonna check if maybe installation media was left in, I'm new at this job and its just a sandbox so its not an urgent issue but i'm not even sure if this has been rebooted since the install.
On a side note this is my error message when creating a VM with its Hard Disk on the NAS
"Permission denied at /usr/share/perl5/PVE/Storage/Plugin.pm line 567."
If anyones got some insight on how to fix this problem or where the problem is coming form that would be great too.
edit: Consoled straight in and it was complaining about needing some pyhton repo, i think it was the first restart and wasnt set up correctly in the first place.
