They are da devices because USB mass storage uses the SCSI stack on FreeBSD.

More interesting (to me) than the USB drives showing up, those of us with multipath disks can now see disks on the 'view disks' tab instead of it being completly empty. This is a HUGE improvement. Using the 'view multipaths' tab to see disks wasn't a substitute because that view didn't show the actual physical device's serial number making troubleshooting more difficult.

This disk change is a huge improvement. Thank you Developers!

Feature request... When selecting multiple disks and doing 'Edit in Bulk', the item I'd most like to change is Description yet that isn't an option to set in bulk. I use description to label disks by assigned volume group. If this isn't a stupid idea, I'll submit an actual feature request.

Thanks for pinging me @danb35. I mentioned that there was no release announcement on the forums the night FreeNAS 11.1 was released but I didn't receive a response. Sorry about that. I guess I'll go ahead and point to the FreeNAS blog and if they want to change it later they can.

I guess you would need to modify your nginx configuration to proxy websockets
https://www.nginx.com/blog/websocket-nginx/
if you make it work, please share your config :)
Ater adding the following directives under the location part in nginx config it all worked fine, thank you.
Code:
	location / {
			proxy_pass http://destination_hostname:80;
		proxy_http_version 1.1;
		proxy_set_header Upgrade $http_upgrade;
		proxy_set_header Connection "upgrade";
	}

On the "Dashboard" tab of the new UI, the IP address is showing as a iocage jail ip address that i created.

Does anyone else see an incorrect IP address here?

The OLD gui shows the correct IP address.

I imagine we're going to see BETA2 any minute now.

I've checked twice today. I'll be the test dummy to see if the iocage networking issues on a reboot are fixed.

Curious about the VM crashes being resolved as well.

You can set your timezone when you logon to Redmine; that must drive the time difference.

The anticipation... :)

Been running nightlies for a while. Liking where iocage is going but most likely I will switch to proxmox for vdi/hypervisor uses and keep freenas as just a storage container. Set up some nfs shares and see if its fast enough.
