I also upgraded from 22.12.4.2 to 23.10.0.1, with ZERO issues. All TrueCharts apps started properly and even fast, so very smooth,
like Daisuke said.
Only thing I have is two alerts regarding my two pools saying :

New ZFS version or feature flags are available for pool.....etc.​

I dont really know how and what to do about that, what did you guys do..???
Or is this the issue mentioned above by Daisuke...??

Upgrading your zfs versions is optional.
Pros: New zfs features are available
Cons: no possibility to downgrade your truenas version anymore.

Also: Do never ever upgrade the zfs version of your boot pool. It will cause GRUB to fail.

It is not necessary but I upgraded my pools with no harm.

In theory you get fast file copies (similar to dedup), the option for draid and bigger record sizes.

I just updated and I am not sure it went right. Wasn't Cobia supposed to overhaul the apps page to look like this or something:

And also it seems to be display triple for all of my volumes? (red part is all that there is, but you can see 3 copies of them all)

Is this ... normal?

So far all apps work. Most VM's work (Debian and Windows Server), but it did break my OSX VM (which I kind of expected because those are very fragile and tricky to set up, but I am not sure what changes were made to VM's in cobia that caused it).

I just updated from 22.12.4.2 to 23.10.0.1 with encrypted apps pool. Update went smoothly, apps started without a problem afterwards (they won't start until pool passphrase is entered).

I noticed two things:
- I needed to mount my pool using "Force" option, because an empty directory "ix-applications" exists in mount location even if the pool is not mounted
- CPU reporting does not work

I can file a support ticket after work. Thanks for the smooth update!
