2.5Gbps?

Hi,

Sorry if my question was already answered. I did a search, but didn't found anything relevant.

I bought a 2.5Gbps network card, an Intel 225 T1.
I installed it in my FreeNAS (13.0), plug the network cable and booted it.
During the "hardware boot", the link is recognized by the switch as a 2.5Gbps connection.
When FreeNAS boots, the switch indicates that it's now a 1Gbps connection.

Does someone have an idea?
Thanks in advance

Maybe I'm wrong:
ifconfig

...
inet IP1 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast IP2
media: Ethernet autoselect (2500Base-T <full-duplex>)
status: active
nd6 options=9<PERFORMNUD,IFDISABLED>
em0: flags=8863<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> metric 0 mtu 1500 options=481049b<RXCSUM,TXCSUM,VLAN_MTU,VLAN_HWTAGGING,VLAN_HWCSUM,LRO,VL
AN_HWFILTER,NOMAP>
...
Maybe it's a switch problem. It's a Zyxel MG108.
But the switch recognizes a 2.5Gbps link on another computer using the same network card (they were bought together)

Please do follow the forum rules and post your entire hardware specifications, as well as your version on Truenas.
It's unlikely a switch issue imho.
Also, which cable are you using?

The 2.5GbE stuff is still rather unreliable and an endless source of frustration, for litttle less cost than real 10GbE...
