web interface is missing menus

When I log in to Freenas 8.3, there are no menus to enter. The only things visible, are System with icon, and Epand all and Collapse all.

Makes no difference if I use IE or Chrome.

The shares are accesible on the network.

What can I do to restore the web interface?

What language are you using for the WebGUI?

Check /var/log/messages for errors.

Language is english.

I do not know how to check /var/log/messages, as the gui is not functioning.

Can I logon another way?

You could use SSH

I'd try a reboot of the server. Perhaps something went bad at some point and a reboot will fix it.
