Hi there !
I have a Phasak 400 VA ( PH 9940 ) ups, that i wold like to connect to my FreeNas Box, went to the ups service, selected it from the list changed the port to /dev/ugen3.2 ( ive saw as i pluged in the usb connector on the serial console popped up that a ups was connected in that port ), changed the identifer to "ups" set the timer to "20", in the description "PH9940", ive posted to a print screen of my config.
So far so good, but, when i tried to enable the service, it couldnt start, ive managed to see what was going wrong on the console and ive discovered that the ups was reported as a "OMRON" with megatec driver
So ive managed to google arround and do some deep search in the forum, and ive discovered that this ups must use a blazer_usb driver, went to the aux. parameter and add the driver = blazer_usb line, used chmod 777 /dev/ugen3.2, start up the service and... same problem, tried to select a megatec_usb driver and still the same.
With blazer_usb driver on Aux. Param. :
With megatec_usb driver on Aux. Param. :
And finnaly with megatec driver:
Does anybody has the same kind of problems ? Some other UPS like Mustek should have this kind of issues :S
Im using FreeNAS-8.0.2-RELEASE-amd64 (8288) , with a AsRock A330 GC.
Thank You !
