TrueNAS Core wants to upgrade to Scale

I have a TrueNAS Server running Core-13.0-U5.1 that insists it wants to upgrade to Scale - even if I pick the TrueNAS-13.0-Stable release train

Any idea how I get it to stick to Core. The server in question is my QNAS box in my sig and doesn't have the resources for Scale (memory)

I did try a sidegrade to Scale a version or so ago - but rapidly went back to Core and ever since then it insists on wanting to migrate to Scale. The last two upgrades I have done have both been my manually downloading the update package and applying manually - and thats getting old


Anyone got an idea about how to make it stick to Core?

Was anything ever figured out on this? I also tried Scale out and quickly went back to Core. I no longer have the option to upgrade my core version, as mine also just tries to force me back to scale.

You can always do a manual update. However, I suggest a clean install... remembering something about not being able to go back.

That was they only way I could fix it. Clean install and reload config file.
