P.S. I am just grateful that I can use such a great NAS O/S completely for free - and as such I might well be happy to see a few banner adverts in return for the benefits I get - but instead as far as I can see there are not really any obvious adverts in the WebUI.

Last month, I signed up for the "Super Free™ Community Edition" beta project . It's neat because you get paid to use TrueNAS, in the same light as being a content creator on YouTube or TikTok.

I don't really mind the ads, and you can easily close them with the X buttons. The main issue I have is that some of the ads I've been seeing lately are giving me mixed messages...

It's still only available to early adopters, but hopefully they'll polish it up before the official release to the public.
