When I attempt to perform the "Apply Service Pack" operation, I get the resulting dialog box with the title of "Apply Service Pack" and contents of "Expected FreeNAS version can not be recognized". Am I doing something wrong?

I verified that the downloaded file sha256sum computed matches the value in the Release Notes for the GUI upgrade image that I am using and I've tried both pasting in only the 256shasum as well as the string with both Filename: and SHA256 Hash: and it still does not work. User error?

It's not a service pack, it's a firmware update. Use the other button and you'll be fine.
