QuiXplorer 2.3 newly changed config settings reverting back to originals

Hello. I have logged in under root in QuiXplorer 2.3 to change account settings for other users and to allow the download and upload buttons. The account settings I changed were to allow users to modify content rather than just view-only. I'm not sure what is triggering it, but over the course of a day or two, the settings change back to the default automatically (view-only for all users except root, no download/upload buttons).

Please help me.
