Plex keeps stopping

I have plex installed running ok. But after about 4 hours it stops the connection. I have to login to FreeNas click on plugins then start plex again. Sometimes it's already running. If it's running I stop it then start it again. Doing this will fix plex for about 4-6 hours. Any help from someone would be great. This whole setup is running through ESXI.

are there any error messages in /var/log/messages in both the jail and freenas? You need to also follow the forum rules and give hardware spec's and in your case the resources you gave FreeNAS in esxi. The reason you are not getting any responses is because you are using virtualization with is highly advised against. And since you can't figure out whey plex isn't working I have a feeling you are sitting on a time bomb for data loss.

You'll get no support from the pros the second you mention virtualizing. There's so many problems that come with it and we don't even want to give the impression that it's a good idea.

If you read the forum rules we make it clear that questions that involve you virtualizing can (and probably will) go unanswered.

Sorry wasn't aware of needing to give specs. I have given the FreeNas 2 cores of a 4 core AMD 3.6ghz processor soon to be upgraded to an 8 core. Right now the FreeNas has 12gb ram will be upgrading it to 24gb once the server is upgraded next week. There are 4-4tb drives installed. I removed the jails and started fresh from one of my other post just using shell cmds. This was completed successfully about an hour ago. If this stays working through the weekend I will try and get it to work with plex pass. From what I understand it seems to be the same just changing which clean install you use.

Issues are resolved after yesterday's maintenance from plex. Whatever they were doing has fixed my issues with plex stopping externally. It's been just over 24 hours which is the longest it has ran thus far.
