Hello all,
I'm, using the qBittorent plugin,
I used to have 1 pool with only 1 disk so far, installed my plugins on it,
and successfully mount place the qbittorent jail to my media dataset,
recently I added a new pool with 3 disks, created a new media dataset on it
and copied all the data from the first dataset on pool1 to the new dataset on pool2 with the same structure and files,
I want to have on the first pool only my plugins (iocage dataset) so i changed
the mount place to point to pool2 dataset,
although the files there and I see them on the shares I have, the qbittorent client says they are missing and 'Errored' for new torrents,
both dataset have the same exact ACLs, what am I missing?
Thanks!

How did you copy it? it looks like it would just be an issue of the permissions not coming across.

thought about it, actually transferred between the two windows shares,
but in a second thought, even on empty new dataset without any files, the qbitorrent for new torrents says 'Errored' and seems to be unable to use the new pool and it's mount place. when changing back to mount the first pool there's no problem anytime.

That will be where your permissions went away.

Either change the permissions on the new location to match the original or copy it again (on the TrueNAS host) with rsync -auv or with zfs send | recv. (or use a replication task)

Hello all,
I'm, using the qBittorent plugin,
That's the issue, run it in a normal jail instead. It's easy, and plugins on core are "a path to sadness".

But I did,
the ACLs for both datasets are the same,
I'm not familiar with those commands, doing changes from truenas ui

what you mean? create a jail and install qbittorent myself in it instead of installing it's plugin?

To be more accurate you want to install qbittorrent-nox.
See this thread.
