Hey there, i am quite new to freenas. Freenas should replace the existing Ubuntu Setup, but right at the installtion - boot (either from CD 9.3 or USB 9.1.29 - i guess), i get the kdb: enter: panic error.

I am really not sure, but my hardware is
Intel i3, Zotac Z97 with 8gb ram, ocz ssd

Attaching a real "screenshot"

Maybe you can help me ?
If necessary, i could give you more hardwareinfo.

Edit: just found a thread with the same issue, where a biosupdate helped ... i gonna try it ;-)

Yeah, that message is some kind of improper hardware compatibility issue. Can't say I'm surprised as the Z97 chipset isn't exactly "recommended/compatible gear" for FreeBSD. Might get lucky with a BIOS update and you may or may not have problems in the future. Good luck in any case.

H61 is just as bad. Still not a server chipset, still gonna have loads of custom manufacturer stuff and still not recommended/compatible gear.
