SOLVED I need some help getting FTP service to run

I have FreeNAS 9.3 on an HP N54L. AFP shares all run fine, but I've got an IP camera and want to enable the FTP service. I've configured it, I think correctly, but when I click the services button to start the FTP server, I just get a message in the header saying, "The service could not be started."

I can't see anything in the log files which could give me a clue to what is going on - in fact, I can't find a reference to the FTP daemon anywhere in any log files.

Any suggestions about what to try or where to look?

Reboot if you haven't already done so. (Yea I hate giving out that advice but it could help)
Post your configuration of the FTP server.

Ah, rebooting fixed it How bizarre!

When I'm testing out FreeNAS I will make many configuration changes and sometimes things just don't work as expected. Typically a reboot will fix it.
