hello i have try to install plugins on my nas.
i have a bug report to look at.

You apparently have a network configuration problem. If you want help then you will need to give complete details of what steps you are taking to install a plugin and at which point the failure appears. Also provide your network setup. Do you have a static IP because DHCP is not a good solution if you are going to have jails/plugins.

OK...
I have tried both static and DHCP. Will the same error.
Right now i have static IP


What I Do

1-login to freenas.
2--Go to plugins.
3---chose a plugin. and install.
4----wait and it take long time and then it's falling.


A jail have been created and a plugin is installed but not started. if i try start it it going to fail.

Which version of FreeNAS are you running and what is your hardware configuration (listing of hardware parts, CPU, RAM, etc...)?

I'd like to see if I can recreate your issue in a virtual machine.

So be a bit more descriptive, treat me like I'm stupid and you need to teach me how to do what you are doing. This is the only way I will be able to help you. Such as exactly which screens to click, what is happening during the installation process like the screen shows installation 1/4, etc..., and where exactly it fails.

Also, where is your jail created and how much hard drive space do you have for the jail?

Hardware configuration
Memory: 8152MB
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2100 CPU @ 3.10GHz
Disk: raid-z1 6.7 gig available

the lates vertion. but its appers in the yealy vertions to.

System: FreeNAS-9.2.1.8-RELEASE-x64 (e625626)

I am currently using just DHCP to see how it works and Couchpotato since that was in your example. I don't use it so this will be a first for me. I do use Plex and MiniDLNA. It sure is taking a long time to create the template.

Also, which plugins have you tried? Did you get any to work?

ok...

The problem start after i Fixing with my networks setup.
i wose then in 9.2.1.6-RC2 realise....
after trying to fix the problem with no lock i upgrade to freenas. 9.2.7
and later on i go to FreeNAS-9.2.1.8-RELEASE-x64 (e625626)
and still this problem.

PLUGIN PROBLEM
installing Plugin
problem to creat jails under plugins installations.
it go to (3/4) Creating jail 50% and stand ther a long time.
then i get the failing messege. but jail have been creatid and plugin is installd but offline
i dont see the plugin in the right tree list under plugins.

Please post the results of ifconfig. Also under the Jails Configuration, what is the starting IP address for your jails? Does the results make sense to you and are they okay for your network configuration?

I was not able to install couchpotato but was able to install MiniDLNA using DHCP. Now I will change to a static IP, Subnet, DNS, and Gateway and try couchpotato again.

I have confirmed that 9.2.1.7 will install couchpotato without issue however 9.2.1.8 I am unable to install it completely.
