Btw, when you're back on an even keel, it might be a good idea to update your FreeNAS hardware and software details in your signature.
Good catch! Will do.Btw, when you're back on an even keel, it might be a good idea to update your FreeNAS hardware and software details in your signature.
Done. I can see the pool now.
That's what I'm trying to do. Not working for me when I go to Shell and go /Data. I try to do a DIR but nothing.Follow post 35 in the second string that @Seymour Butt gave you to find the old config file on your pool. Then import/upload that config with the button on the System/General page.
Yep I did that. Then what?Drop a bit further down the post - you need to go to /var/db/system
When you're in the prompt (root@FreeNAS[/var/db/system]#), what's the next command?
Yep, I got that but what is the command?ls to list the contents and find the full directory name of configs-averylargenumber
That is lower case "ls"
Got it. Those 2 folders are empty.the command is "ls":
I just looked in both tghose and my configs are in the first so run the cursor across it to copy it
type cd (space) right-click for
View attachment 29555
Hit carriage return, then ls
View attachment 29556
and there are your config files
So I'm I losing all my Plex data?Well, those folders are dated today. I guess that you did not have your configuration stored on your pool, but still on the boot drive as was the earlier default. Best thing to do now is to treat it as a blessing in disguise, an opportunity to have a freshly configured install...
What can you see in the pool?I can see the pool now.
I see everything. What can you see in the pool?
