Formal specs and pretty pictures:

I purchased this system brand new from iXsystems in 2015. The system runs ZFS, and is as close to silent as possible. It is whisper quiet, and is a strong performer. It far outpaces the prepackaged systems like Qnap/Synology, especially when you start adding packages like Plex transcoding, CrashPlan, or other utilities. I have installed a fresh copy of Freenas 11, and I would be happy to preconfigure the IPMI and FreeNAS network settings for the buyer, for a painless setup.

I have had the system powered off for the last 8 months since consolidating on to my larger FreeNAS system. I am located in Dallas, Texas and there is no charge for local pickup.

PayPal available for payment. I can post this on eBay (and pay the fees) if that helps with buyer protection.

I would recommend that you also post this on ebay. If you use PayPal then you should also update your first posting to include that too. Here on these forums we like to use other services for sales in order to protect both the buyer and seller, especially when it comes to high cost items.

With respect to the hard drives, I would recommend that you post the smartctl -x /dev/adax output for all your hard drives. This would tell us the make/model, serial number so we can see what the warranty expiration date actually is, and check out any errors. If you haven't done a SMART Long/Extended test in a while then I'd ensure you do that first so that data is present. I only say this because this is the data I would desire if I were to buy a used hard drive.

Good luck with your sale.

Thanks for the suggestions. I edited the first message to add PayPal info / eBay posting in case someone would prefer to go through that channel.

Have run SMART reports on schedule, just forgot to include them. Attached.
