OK, folks, the new 9.2.1.2 is up and the README updated to note this fact! We're still updating the checksums on the web site. I've also updated the announcement text for 9.2.1.1 to make special note of this little booboo. :confused:

Thanks!

Plex still not updating and deleting plex server also broken.

Using the delete option for a plex server shall cause it to indefinitely display a message that its deleting but if you wait 5 to 10 min and go into jails and turn off the plex server it deletes suddenly.
I bug reported this and wonder if this could be a possible cause for plex update problems if the updater is having a similar issue.

I presume you meant to say 9.2.1.2

From a support perspective, *I* wish you'd called it something like 9.2.1.2 p1, rather than re-rolling it with the same version number.

I've also updated the announcement text for 9.2.1.1 to make special note of this little booboo.

+ 1 bajillion... but hey, that's not how they roll. Anything that confuses people is good!

Pretty sure NFSv4 is a 9.2.2 feature.

FYI, just tried to upgrade from 9.2.1.2 to 9.2.1.2(.1) and could not upgrade via GUI. Had to upgrade via .iso.

@krikboh,
Did you get some kind of error during the GUI upgrade? I have also run into the same issue as posted in this bug report (https://bugs.freenas.org/issues/4420) when attempting to update from FreeNAS-9.2.1.2-RELEASE-x64 (ce022f0) to the latest release of 9.2.1.2 dated 01-Mar-2014 12:21 via the GUI. The fix is in the README file on the downloads page.

Yeah I browsed to the GUI upgrade file and the progress bar came up, but once the upgrade uploaded to the server the status switched to an error. Guess I should have copied or screen grabbed the error. Just said forget it downloaded the iso and did a fresh install. Just as easy with IPMI virtual CD.

Another person who does not read the README file. :)

That is because is not linked anywhere, should be on download page. README
Release Notes for FreeNAS 9.2.1.2-RELEASE

This point release for 9.2.1 fixes even more issues found in 9.2.1.1 in
CIFS, NFS locking, the new .system dataset, ACLs, migration during upgrades,
serial consoles, and a few smaller things. All bugs fixed in 9.2.1.2-RELEASE
can be found here:

https://bugs.freenas.org/projects/freenas/issues?query_id=39

SPECIAL NOTE: This is a re-roll of the 9.2.1.2-RELEASE done on 2014-02-28;
If you see a release directory without a CHECKSUMS file, you have the old one.
Please use this one! There was a last-minute change which broke automatic
pool imports and the GUI updater - whoops! If you already installed the
previous 9.2.1.2 with the broken GUI updater, please do the following from
the GUI shell:

cd /tmp
fetch 'http://download.freenas.org/errata/fix.sh'
chmod 755 fix.sh
sh ./fix.sh

This will bring you up to date (and apply the fix this new release would have
also brought you). We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

I tired the errata fix fetch from the shell first and it seemed to hang. I didn't notice the note regarding the broken GUI updater. I blame the Rogue beers I was drinking at the time ;)

It will take a little time to run (took a few mins myself) as it's mounting the root partition off of the USB drive in RW mode and then remounting it back to RO mode once it's done writing to the drive.
