So, I just loaded 8.0.1-Release and thought I'd hit the scrub button. What a mistake that was! It's going it's job but this task needs to run in a low priority because all data access is very slow. I'm talking 1.2MB/sec transfer rates when I normally get 65+MB/sec data rates reading. Writing is normally 90+MB/sec for large files, slower for small files.
I tried to find out if scrub has a way to place it into a low priority mode but I couldn't find it.
Also, once scrub was finished, my transfer rates were around 9MB/sec for large files. A reboot solved it and brought it back to normal. Not sure what is going on there.
