Where to setup RAID when using VM

You can pass a USB controller through to the VM also so you can connect any kind of USB device. It should be possible to use PCIe pass-through to get almost any device from the physical system into the virtual.

When you pass a video card into the VM, you should be able to connect local monitors to the video card instead of only accessing the Windows VM remotely.

Oook! I think I get it. Thanks for being patient with me... So, when the VM starts running, the video will activate to that VM when you start it... Just as if it were a PC booting in stand-alone. It is not an RDP situation. Sorry, some of this VM stuff is quite a bit deeper than I'm used too. This does change things. It might be a viable effort now. I'll see what I can get going and report back.

Just as if it were a PC booting in stand-alone.
You will probably need two video cards though, one that is very cheap and can be used by ESXi and the other that you will use ESXi to pass over to the VM.
