UPS Setup Help

I am having problems setting up my cyberpower cp1000pfclcd ups.
This is what is logged:

Settings are the port is on auto and the driver is the same as my UPS. All the rest are what is default.

Please Help me get it to work.

P.S. Yes I know I have to switch up my shutdown timer to a 30 min or should I go with when it hits low power?

It looks like that UPS uses the usbhid driver which is supposed to "detect any UPS that uses the HID power device class using libusb". It is possible that that HID is not listed on FreeBSD.

Can you create a bug report at bugs.freenas.org that includes a link to that usbhid driver page as well as the above error output, and post the issue number here. The dev may ask you to add the output of some usb probe commands.

I got it to work. All I did was re download and install FreeNAS. Maybe it was that when I moved around my cables it repluged something in. Either way it works.

But know I got a different question. It is what is better, to tell the UPS to shut down in 30 min or when the battery is low? The reason why I choose 30 min is because when it is up and running it says it should last between 50 and 60 min.
