I'm having a problem while trying to install the latest updates to FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201505040117 version I'm using now.

May 11 11:07:53 NAS updated.py: [freenasOS.Installer:625] Delta package 9.3-STABLE-4c5bf4d-9e81b33-adf8538->9.3-STABLE-70e5e2d-3bda974-adf8538 cannot upgrade current version 9.3-STABLE-70e5e2d-3bda974-adf8538
May 11 11:07:53 NAS updated.py: [freenasOS.Installer:803] Unable to install package base-os
May 11 11:07:53 NAS updated.py: [freenasOS.Update:803] Unable to install packages
May 11 11:07:53 NAS updated.py: [freenasOS.Update:829] Update got exception during update: Unable to install packages
May 11 11:08:09 NAS manage.py: [middleware.exceptions:38] [MiddlewareError: Unable to install packages]

I'm using dual USB 2.0 8GB sticks (with about 11% of used space):

Size: 7.4 GiB
Used: 849.7 MiB (11%)

Veryfying the installation seems to be ok because the only message I'm gettin is already known 'issue':

List of Checksum Mismatches:

/conf/base/etc/resolv.conf

I'm afraid to reboot this before trying again because with my luck FreeNAS won't boot correctly and I will have to install it all over again.

Any suggestions what might cause this or is this already "a known bug"?

Stay put, 20150510whatever has weird SMART bug.

In any case, make sure you have a backup of your config file. If you do, the worst that can happen is having to reinstall FreeNAS and upload the config file.

That's what I've expected. I won't reboot this for now. Maybe upcoming update will be able to overwrite whatever I have installed atm?

ps. Yeah I'm trying to save config files on a regular basis.

I'm not sure will it help because obviously FreeNAS will try to reboot into the new version even though updates are not installed?
