I failed to update today. Per question above I have 11 boot environments. 8 gb usb I think. similar error.

Originally I tried to update but download froze so I cancelled. Some update or reboot went through and I got error about da15:umass-sim0... error and boot froze on starting nut.

I rebooted using 201503200528 instead of 201503270027 and I have unable to install packages error. I don't know date code of update that FreeNAS tried to install today.

You are running out of space on the boot device. Use System -> Boot to remove the boot environments you no longer need so that you only have 2 or 3 left.

seems to have worked after deletion. strange that flash drive was only about half full to have caused such trouble. o_O Perhaps this usb drive clean up can happen automatically in future versions.
