When trying to update via the GUI I get this error

Jun 10 17:52:04 SHREK updated.py: [freenasOS.Installer:625] Delta package 9.3-STABLE-78ebdb9-3bda974-b54df29->9.3-STABLE-23f1401-3df1120-dc3cbb7 cannot upgrade current version 9.3-STABLE-23f1401-3df1120-dc3cbb7

Jun 10 17:52:04 SHREK updated.py: [freenasOS.Update:1047] Unable to install packages
Jun 10 17:52:04 SHREK updated.py: [freenasOS.Update:1078] Update got exception during update: Unable to install packages
Jun 10 17:52:08 SHREK manage.py: [middleware.exceptions:38] [MiddlewareError: Unable to install packages]

Any hints on where to start debugging this, or just ignore and wait for next update ??

Best regards

How much capacity is on the boot device (System -> Boot)?

Thanks
It's a 8GB USB drive, and with aprox 700MB free

Should I replace it with a larger USB drive ? If so, what's the best procedure ?

edit: I have this warning

The capacity for the volume 'freenas-boot' is currently at 88%, while the recommended value is below 80%

That's why the update failed. You could replace the device, but you do not have to. Delete some of the older boot environments you never plan to boot into and this will free up disk space. Most people keep the default and the last 1 or 2 boot environments.

Thanks.
I didn't have many old boot environments left. But just started a scrub just in case...

Cleaned all but 2 boot environments and ran scrub and still no way to update, i.e. the same errors.

What's the correct procedure to migrate the current 8GB Boot USB Pen to a larger 16GB ??
