I just set up my new FreeNAS 8 server and am having trouble getting globalSAN iSCSI initiator v4.1 in Mac OS X Lion to recognize my FreeNAS 8 target. I believe I've set up my target correctly in FreeNAS.
When trying to connect to the target globalSAN gives me the error: "Code E3FF8203. The requested iSCSI Target Name does not exist at specified address". Any help would be much appreciated!
- I changed my iSCSI base name to iqn.2011-03.local.freenas.
- I changed the Discovery Auth Method to None.
- I created a target name with Auth Method=None.
- I created an Authorized Initiator for ALL Networks.
- And I created a Portal on 0.0.0.0:3260 to listen on all networks.
- Also, iSCSI service is turned on ;)
When trying to connect to the target globalSAN gives me the error: "Code E3FF8203. The requested iSCSI Target Name does not exist at specified address". Any help would be much appreciated!
