Hi all,
Could you check with dmidecode the max speed of your cpu?
I found with demidecode it lists an E3-1241v3 as max 3800 single core speed.
The correct single core CPU Max Speed is in fact: 3900 MHz for this cpu!
And for all cores it is 3700 and correctly displayed in systembios.
Are we missing 100mhz at single core top speed?
My bios version is latest version 3.0a of course.
See: http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Xeon/Intel-Xeon%20E3-1241%20v3.html
Output from dmidecode:
Processor Information
Socket Designation: CPU
Type: Central Processor
Family: Xeon
Manufacturer: Intel
ID: C3 06 03 00 FF FB EB BF
Signature: Type 0, Family 6, Model 60, Stepping 3
Flags: Stripped to reduce this message.
Version: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1241 v3 @ 3.50GHz
Voltage: 1.2 V
External Clock: 100 MHz
Max Speed: 3800 MHz
Current Speed: 3500 MHz
