Supermicro X10SLM-F-O BIOS 3.0 update

The Supermicro X10SLM-F-O has a BIOS 3.0 update. The update description is:

Intel® Xeon® processor E3-1200 v3 series, Intel® 4th Generation Core™ i3 series, Intel Pentium®, Celeron®; Socket LGA 1150 supported; Intel® C224 Chipset

I have a Pentium G3420, Haswell. The processor has been running fine for the past year. Am I missing anything by not upgrading the BIOS? Performance? Power? Instructions?

It's mostly for Broadwell support, AFAIK. No need to update unless you're at an opportune time to do so.
