Okay, so my first problem may be a noob one, reading discretion is advised :) I'm using FreeNAS 11.2
First problem: on the SMB share, I can login with password but when I access the share's subfolder the Windows prompt goes like "you might not have permission to use this network resource"
So I started from scratch when I migrated back to FreeNAS from trying ubuntu and windows 10 enterprise (it just feels complicated with running full os's, had stability issues)
I create the pool, then create the group, then create the account, then create a dataset linked to the account, account linked to it with all the right permissions, set for Windows-type share, I create SMB share to the mount point in the dataset. Drive not accessible in Windows...
Second problem. Might not be related to FreeNAS.
Any plugin refuses to install: "Exception: URLError: occured, ... destroyed". Looking the issue up reveals that I have to use manual IP settings and might be a problem with DHCP. But when I try to input manual IP's it fails (maybe I don't "know" the settings, still don't have huge experience). I'm using an OpenWrt router if that helps.
Are there any logs I can provide or there's no need for them?
Thank you
