I'm very new, and testing FreeNas, I'm using 9.2
What I want to do is create different user, (I can do this)
Each user has it own private dir, (I can do this)
Problem, I also want all user to have access to the same folders.
I created a group, and user for the share folder added the group to the other user, I can see the folders, but I do not have any rights to it. I doing something wrong with the group or the user.
My goal for freenas are:
1) To store all my files (I will be using a Raid) using Windows on the freenas (done).
2) have access to all the files via internet. (using FTP, will move to FTPs after testing)
3) Give others access to certain folders via Home Network and Internet.
4) backup files (files version).
5) Store video for Apple TV and remote access.
any help or comment would be great
