started preparations to build plugins and realized i need a secondary jail for bootp+dhcp+tftp+xorg

wondering the results on adding secondary or tertiary jail to rc.conf
would it knock the plugins configuration or the web gui?

btw. would xorg start jailed? that would be fine!

Right now it would be very difficult to add a second jail, the info in rc.conf is stored in the FreeNAS database and overwrites rc.conf. If you can wait for FreeNAS 9.1, there should be multiple jails.

The good news is that Xorg will run in a jail. My JDownloader plugin and MythTV plugin both used X11. You could choose between creating a virtual display that you could interact with using VNC, OR export your DISPLAY variable to point to a system running an X11 server to display the output.

Once we get to an Alpha or Beta version of 9.1, I'll work on re-releasing those plugins but will probably separate the X11 components into its own plugin.
