Build: FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201510290351
HBA: LSI SAS 9206-16e
SuperMicro X9DRI-F, Dual Intel Xeon E5-2687W
The server won't boot and I receive the error message "run_interrupt_driven_hooks: still waiting after XX seconds for xpt_config mps startup mps startup"
If I remove the HBA, freenas boots up just fine.
I have tried all the suggestions I could find.
Adding;
hw.pci.enable_msix=0
hw.pci.enable_msi=0
to the /boot/loader.config
disabling everything non essential including any firewire ports.
I've also tried running ESXi on hardware and passing the HBA to a freenas VM. I get the same results. Side note vmware sees the card and drives just fine.
