Hello everybody,
I'm about to make the jump from an pokey old prebuilt PC to (another prebuilt) Xeon workstation. I was able to pick up a HP Z400 for very little money locally with no drives installed which is perfect for me. It will be much cheaper to expand the RAM on the Z400 as well.
My concern is with drive mapping once the freeNAS SSD is moved into the Z400. will it be able to detect the drives again without a problem if i plug them in the same order as they currently are?
I apologize if i missed a guide on this subject. I googled and went thru the manual/faq but it's possible i still overlooked something.
