Problem setting up miniDLNA on freeNAS 8.0.4

Hello, noob question.

Attempting to setup miniDLNA as user "minidlna" using the following guide

when logging as minidlna > mount -wu > "OPERATION NOT PERMITTED"

when logging as root > cp /conf/base/usr/local/etc/minidlna.conf $HOME/. > "NO SUCH FILE OR DIRECTORY"

What am I doing wrong?

I don't know what your exact problem is, but I'd highly recommend you update as the newer versions of FreeNAS have jail support which will let you properly integrate minidlna in the jail.

Tried that also. Burned the 8.3.1 image to USB stick. Either startup sequence hangs on "STARTING CRON" or the server ignores USB stick with newer version competely..
