Problem adding a new NIC

Hi,

I just added a new NIC to increase transfer speed on my LAN but it is not showing up in FreeNAS(pic). The card I bought was a Ugreen PCI-E PCI E Express:

I just read some threads about compatibility issues but never thought of it at the time of purchase.

I have the network card in the computer and the network lights are flashing away (pic) so its not broken but as I said it doesn't appear.

I have set a static IP to FreeNAS & piHole because I have mapped drives on my PC to FreeNAS and piHole really needs a static IP - I specified the NIC on the motherboard to do this so maybe I have to set a static IP for the new device? Is there a way I can merge two NIC's to have one IP address?

I took a screenshot of the console on FreeNAS after boot, is it recognizing two network cards? epair0a and epair0b ?

The NIC is appearing now, The new GUI kind of hid it from me ><.

I'm trying to add these two NIC's together into one link aggregation to increase speed but they don't appear under link aggregation.

I was following this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqSH_uQSArQ

Why don't they appear under Link Aggregation? How can I make use of the new faster NIC?

Sort of, FreeNAS is new to me but I finally copped that the problem is with the switch. I have a Netgear GS208 unmanaged Gigabit switch and I get gigabit LAN if I use one NIC. If I want to use two NIC's I probably need the Netgear Managed Pro Switch which does Link aggregation.
