Pool offline after replacing disk

Hi,
I've had a disk in my NAS on it's way out for a while, it died recently.
I identified the drive in the machine and replaced it, I reboot the machine and the pool is offline.

I'm not sure what caused the issue or how to resolve it, super novice here.

Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers.

Can you share the output from zpool status -v ?
Thanks so much for replying :)

Here is that output:

the configuration database and will be reset on reboot.

root@freenas:~ # zpool status -v
pool: freenas-boot
state: ONLINE
status: Some supported features are not enabled on the pool. The pool can
still be used, but some features are unavailable.
action: Enable all features using 'zpool upgrade'. Once this is done,
the pool may no longer be accessible by software that does not support
the features. See zpool-features(5) for details.
scan: scrub repaired 0B in 00:03:57 with 0 errors on Wed Apr 28 03:48:57 2021

It seems like we're missing the last (and most important) part of the output... was there no more?

Yeah it wouldn't let me post it, I'll try again here:

Take a look here and read about posting with code tags. Maybe you can get the entire output into your reply. If you are trying to do this in the GUI shell and it is not working for you, enable ssh, log into the NAS that way and try to run the command again.

Unfortunately, that is not really helpful. There are 2 pools, the freenas-boot pool and your data pool. In addition to the status of the boot pool, you should see the status of the data pool, which in your case looks to be called VOL-1. In any event, what do you see if you select the gear icon of the VOL-1 pool that is located in the upper right of the screen print you provided? Also, please provide your system specs as described in the Forum Rules post. More information is required for us to assist you further...

After clicking the gear icon it takes me to a pool status page with nothing under any of the values.

Just seems that all the disks are no longer in the pool. But all of them including the new disk are being appearing in the system under "Disks"
Is it just a matter of getting them back in the pool?

OK, so your pool is there... you may find that it "re-appears" in the GUI after a reboot.

If it doesn't, we're in for some CLI work to get it back by replacing the dead one with the new one.

So you have a new disk already in the box (and the old/dead one is out)?

Have you identified the new disk (ada2 da3 ... do you know which one it is)?

Is it the right kind of disk (not SMR) and the right size?

Yep!
Dead drive is out,
New disk is in connected via the same SATA port.
New drive SN: ZGY94V5Y
Yes it is a same disk as others in the volume

OK, so we will need to know the identifier... like ada2 or da3 or whatever as we will need to manually do the partitioning before we can use it.

If you're not sure you should be able to use dmesg | grep Serial to see all the drives with their serial numbers
