Plex not connecting to outside but new installation DOES (corrupted?)

OK, thanks. So I navigated to the usr directory and I get this

Then going on by what you earlier mentioned ("/usr/local/plexdata-plexpass/")
I did CD local and get this

So I'm not seeing anything that looks like a plex directory. Do I need to look elsewhere.

I can't do this for you. I'm not sure why it is not there, mine is in the location I specified. Just google and see if you can find other locations that people have found that database in. You know what to look for now (a folder called "plexdata"). Try some of the other folders.

Read up on how to navigate with in a unix shell (cd directory name) to go into a directory and (cd ..) to go up one level in the directory structure. Do some research, you'll figure it out.
