Hey everyone. I replaced my router today with a mesh router setup. I had to update some network settings in the new router (port forwarding) and FreeNAS (FreeNAS static IP interface, plugins jail, network drives, etc.) on FreeNAS to work properly with the new network. In the process, I was able to get access to Plex using my laptop and navigating to http:<server.IP>:32400. I sign in using plex pass, however, the plex web app says it can't find my server. I can't see my media and users outside the network can not see the media. I know this is what I need to do/access, but I can't. I need your help please.

PlexMediaServerVersion: 1.12.2.4929
Router: TP Link Deco M4 mesh network

What I've tried:
  • Port forward 32400 on router
  • Port forward 443 and 80 on router (more for FreeNAS and not plex plugin)
  • reserve FreeNAS and jail IP on router
  • disable security to plex plugin in FreeNAS web UI
  • restart plugin multiple times
  • restart jail multiple times
Thanks ahead of time.

Did you change your network subnet address when you installed the new router?

Subnet mask over LAN, correct? If so, no.

I ended up switching back to my old router and got this working again.
