Hello everyone, I'm really new to true nas and I got this warring from true nas

Code:
root@truenas[~]# zpool status -v
  pool: Volume1
 state: ONLINE
status: One or more devices has experienced an unrecoverable error. An
attempt was made to correct the error. Applications are unaffected.
action: Determine if the device needs to be replaced, and clear the errors
using 'zpool clear' or replace the device with 'zpool replace'.

Not that I only made tests on the 3 disks showing warning in Trueness (ada/0 ada/1 and ada3)
should I replace all three drives or only ada0 witch have 12 CKSUM errors?
Thank you for your help, greetings from France.

Checksum errors are generally cable problems. See if the disk in question has a loose or damaged cable. If you have a decent quality spare, you might try replacing it.

You might want to update your signature for the WD Red NAS drives to include the wording as "WD Red Pro NAS" as the lower end model is known to have problems. But, you are using the better quality "Pro" version.

Also you need to run long smart tests on all of your drives, they don't show that any have been run on them.

Thank you for the tips, i'am currently running a long smart test, when it has finished I'll try an other sata cable. I have an spare disk on hand so if the error appears one more time I can swap the faulty disk.

Looking at the drive data, with the exception of not showing a SMART Long test completing, the drives look good. If the Long test passes then I do not suspect your drives. I also do not suspect your drive data cable(s). Something happened to make the drive record the data incorrectly. It could just have been the system dropping power or rebooting. Or more probable is 8GB RAM. If you are doing much more than purely running as a NAS, no VM, jails, dockers, plugins, etc... then you could be running out of RAM. The way to check for that is to examine your reports area for SWAP and on the right side will be Min/Avg/Max. If the value is anything other than zero, you ran out of RAM.

Back to the problem at hand...
After the SMART tests complete, run another scrub. If it provides you the same output, meaning no more errors generated, no files listed as bad and you should replace with backup copies, then it is safe to run the command zpool clear Volume1 and once complete, run another scrub to verify the problem is fixed. We do not like to jump to this solution because we prefer to find out if there is a larger problem causing it.

If not already doing so, I recommend weekly Long tests and daily Short tests on all drives.

I don't see anything wrong I will start the scrub task asap.
Agreed. I suspect the scrub will show the same errors, or hope it will, then the clear operation will remove the errors. Just keep an eye on it and if the error occurs on the same drive again, you can recheck all cables going to that drive. Hopefully all is good.

Just keep an eye on it, if errors come back, track to see if it is on the same drive. This does not mean it is the drive but it could be.
