Not able to install SCALE

So, I have an old Fujitsu Esprimo that I use as a NAS with TrueNAS CORE. Everything has been going great so far, but since I kinda missed docker I wanted to give SCALE a shot. I flashed the image to a USB stick and booted from it.
This is where the problems began.
Instead of seeing the little menu, all I saw was the following:

ACPI: SPCR: Unexpected SPCR Access Width. Defaulting to byte size

After that nothing, I waited 10 minutes, but it seems that is properly stuck at that point.

I tried both the 21.02 and 21.04 images of SCALE and both showed the same one-liner.
However, when using the CORE image everything works just fine.

I'm using a Xeon X3363 with an LGA771 to LGA775 sticker.

Does someone know what I could try to get it to work?
Would it be possible to install it on the drive from another PC and then swap it back to this one? Or would I get problems with drivers?

Yea, I'm not sure installing on another system and swapping disk is going to work here. A quick google search of that error indicates that you can perhaps try a BIOS update, as well as checking your bios settings and seeing if you can disable the "Serial Port Console Redirection" option.

Sadly, I'm already on the "newest"(2009) BIOS version. Also, while I found something about Console Redirection in the BIOS, disabling it didn't change anything.

I have a theory.
I tried to boot an Ubuntu and a windows image, and both failed to boot. Ubuntu with the same message and windows with a blinking cursor.
Not the thing is that I previously had windows installed on the PC without any problems.
Between then and now I only changed two things.

1. Switched from an Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 to the Xeon X3363
2. Upgrade from 4 GB to 8 GB of DDR2 RAM (same specifications)

I'm fairly certain that the RAM isn't the problem, which just leaves the CPU.
I've been getting a warning about missing microcode updates in the POST screen of the BIOS. I haven't really tried updating it till now since it seemed to work without that. Well, it worked until now.
I guess I'll try the old CPU again and if that doesn't work I'll probably have to try and update the microcode.
